about

2001, Electro-Beats

~

The first and only release of RIDMA (Romanian IDM Association), a project initiated by Makunouchi Bento and Adapt (aka Bogdan Roşu, Dump52, Hardwax, Mikroloop, Pascal Nazon, Kevin Grant, Mr. Pinhead, Purusa Prakrti, Pherplexer, Petalpusher, Dust). Published on Adapt's website, Electro-Beats, in April 2001.

Originally a 4-track EP, now it has a bonus track: Adapt’s original version of "Crisp", never released before.

Track 1 was released by Eerik Inpuj Sound in 2001 as a single in XM format (FastTracker module), and later as 192 kbps MP3. The old MP3 version is not available anymore, but the XM is: eerikinpujsound.com/legacy/releases_zipped/inpuj035.zip

Track 3 was released by Ogredung in 2002 as a single.

It is also one of the most familiar images of Japan's domestic environment. Reading the box as both an object and a metaphor, Felix Petrescu and Valentin Toma founded this cinematic / experimental / electroacoustic project back in late 2000. ... more
